Twelve Days of Christmas – Day 5: Cards & Giftwrap

Christmas Banner

It’s Day 5 of our Christmas Gift Guide, and we’re taking a break from gift-hunting to concentrate on cards and gift wrap. There was a time, before the kids arrived, when I was one of those infuriatingly organised people whose gifts are purchased and wrapped before the end of October. These days things are very different and I’m usually still frantically searching for the sellotape and gift wrap after midnight on Christmas Eve. If, like me, you’ve not even purchased your Christmas cards yet, do not despair! There is still time to get your beautiful original cards from the Craft Britannia team – here are just a few of the fabulous card designs available from our members:

Cheerful Cards

Gift Wrap Ideas

We have all sorts of innovative gift wrap ideas for you, including gorgeous little fabric bags, reusable fabric gift wrap, pretty gift boxes and holders for gift cards, as well as beautiful paper bags and printed wrapping paper

Beautiful Bags…

Some parcels can be tricky to wrap, but the CraftBritannia team have a solution for you! Instead of struggling with wrapping paper, try one of our handmade bags! Wine bottle? Big stuff for little kids? Small stuff for big kids? Something unusual for a very precious gift? All sorted with Craft Britannia!

…and Wrapping as Gifts!

Personalised stockings make fabulous giftwrap, or consider giving a present in wrapping that is also a gift in itself – like a teapot in it’s very own cosy! A jar of homemade preserve always goes down well at Christmas, especially with a prety fabric cover.

Pretty Ribbons and Bows…

Now you’ve chosen your gift wrap, we’ve found some pretty ties to make your gifts even more special! There is gorgeous seasonal ribbon and festive yarn – or for a change you could tie your parcels with leather, string or even a fabulous scarf!

…and Handmade Tags

As the perfect finishing touch, we’ve found some beautiful paper gift tags with matching wrapping paper available. As an alternative, consider attaching some lovely ceramic stars or a handmade Christmas decoration to adorn your parcels this year – a lovely finishing touch that also makes a very desirable keepsake!

We hope you’ve enjoyed today’s round up of handmade cards and gift wrapping ideas! We’ll be back soon with another selection of fabulous handmade and vintage Christmas gifts from our crafty members!
